No injuries, terminal evacuated after fire at Kingston airport - AAJ

President of the Airports Authority of Jamaica, Audley Deidrick, says no injuries have been reported from the fire inside the VIP lounge Club Kingston at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.

“They have evacuated the terminal as a result of this incident,” he said.

Emergency services are responding to the blaze, which comes a day after an emergency drill at the facility.

Two fire units reportedly responded to the incident.

Evacuation protocols were reportedly activated.
