Clarendon woman dies following vehicular crash in Savannah Cross

A 31-year-old woman, Shaunakay McLean-Gordon, succumbed to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision along the Savannah Cross roadway in Clarendon on Wednesday.

About 11:45 a.m. McLean-Gordon was driving a Honda Fit motor car along the roadway when she reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which collided with an Isuzu motor truck.

McLean-Gordon, who resided in Mineral Heights, Clarendon, was taken to the May Pen Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The 53-year-old driver of the Isuzu truck was warned for prosecution.

The May Pen Traffic Department is investigating the matter.
