Five scrapped stolen vehicles recovered in Burger Gully, Mountain View
Five scrapped motor vehicles suspected of being stolen were today discovered in a section of Burger Gully in Mountain View by the Kingston Eastern police.
The vehicles are believed to be two white Nissan AD Wagons, a white Toyota Probox, a white Toyota Allion, and a grey Toyota Voxy.
Reports from the Elletson Road police are that about 1:00 p.m., lawmen were in the area conducting an operation.
The team went to a section of the community and searched an unoccupied premises where the five completely scrapped motor vehicles were discovered.
Based on this discovery, the police theorised that the motor vehicles were stolen from elsewhere and brought to the location to be scrapped.
The Elletson Criminal Investigations Branch is imploring persons who have lost vehicles fitting the descriptions to contact them at 876-928-4200, the 119 police emergency number or the nearest police station.
