500 pounds of compressed ganja seized in Westmoreland, two men arrested

The police in Westmoreland on Friday seized 500 pounds of compressed ganja in Whitehouse and arrested two men.
They are being held on suspicion of breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
Reports are that about 5:40 a.m. the police went to Fustive Grove in Whitehouse in search of drugs, guns, and wanted persons.
During the search of a premises, the ganja was observed.
Two men – ages 34 and 39 - who were at the premises were taken into custody.
An investigation is being conducted by the Savanna-La-Mar Criminal Investigation Branch.
