Man fatally stabbed during dispute with fruit vendor in Manchester

A 36-year-old Manchester resident was reportedly fatally stabbed during a dispute with a fruit vendor in the parish on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Klane Farquharson, unemployed, of Clarks Town, Manchester.

The police say the altercation took place about 1:54 p.m. along New Green Road in Mandeville.

Farquharson was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Mandeville Criminal Investigations Branch is probing the matter.
