Man held after gun, 161 rounds of ammo seized in St Thomas operation

A man is in police custody following the seizure of an illegal firearm and 161 rounds of ammunition during an operation in Logwood, Yallahs, on Friday.
The Yallahs police reported that around 5:23 p.m., officers searched a premises in the community, where they found one .38 revolver and the 161 rounds of assorted ammunition.
The man was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition.
