In her newest memoir, George the Last, Rachel Manley chronicles her brief-but-interesting marriage to British aristocrat George Albert Harley de Vere Drummond. The daughter of former Prime Minister Michael Manley is a poet, author, and winner of the Governor General’s award for her memoir Drumblair: Memories of a Jamaican Childhood. ‘ George the Last’ is written jointly with their son Drum Manley Drummond.

The official community launch was held at the Consulate General of Jamaica in Toronto, in collaboration with Arts & Culture Jamaica Inc, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The organisation promotes the artistic and unique cultural heritage of Jamaica.
