MoBay man held with parts from car stolen in Hanover charged

The Hanover police have charged a 30-year-old St James man after he was found with parts from a car that was reported stolen.
Alex Perry of Port Bello, Montego Bay is charged with larceny of motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.
His court date has not been finalised.
The Lucea police say the car was stolen from Orange Bay on Monday, May 19.
It is reported that about 4:37 a.m., a man parked his Toyota Crown motor in his garage and went to bed.
Sometime after, he heard the sound of a car radio, and he got up and went to investigate.
He realised that his vehicle was missing.
A report was made to the police and an investigation was launched.
During the investigation, the lawmen went to an establishment in Montego Bay, St James that is operated by Perry.
A search of the establishment was conducted where parts of the stolen motor car were seen in Perry’s possession, according to the police.
He was subsequently taken into custody and was charged on Friday, June 6, after he was interviewed in the presence of his attorney.
