Central High student dies after collapsing at school
A wave of grief swept through Central High School in Clarendon on Friday following the sudden death of a grade nine student who reportedly collapsed on the school compound.
The student has been identified as Daylan Findlay.
Information reaching The Gleaner is that Daylan was participating in an activity at the school when he collapsed. He was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident has left students and staff in shock as they grapple with the tragedy.
News of the teenager’s death has been met with an outpouring of condolences on social media.
