Mandeville recording artiste 'Positive' charged with murder
Fifty-six-year-old Ryan Hooper, otherwise called ‘Positive’, a recording artiste from Manchester, has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a man during a fight last month.
Hooper, who is from Clarks Town Road in Mandeville, was charged on Tuesday, the police say.
The deceased is 29-year-old Klane Farquharson.
The Mandeville police say the incident occurred about 2 p.m. in New Green, Manchester, on May 8.
Hooper and Farquharson, both of the same community, were reportedly involved in a dispute during which a knife was used.
Farquharson was stabbed multiple times in the upper body.
He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Hooper was charged on Tuesday after a question-and-answer session conducted in the presence of his attorney, a police statement said Wednesday
