Green Island Outstation of Hanover Parish Court closed for repairs

The Green Island Outstation of the Hanover Parish Court has been temporarily closed by the Court Administration Division to facilitate extensive remedial work.
In a statement issued Thursday, the agency said the closure became necessary due to critical structural deficiencies that require urgent attention to ensure the continued safety of court staff and members of the public.
As a result, all matters previously scheduled for hearing at the Green Island Outstation have been relocated to the Hanover Parish Court in Lucea until further notice.
Litigants and members of the public who are unsure of their court dates are advised to contact the Hanover Parish Court at 876-553-6956.
