Teen boy in St Mary arrested over fatal incident
A teen boy has been taken into police custody for the alleged killing of a man in Belfield, St Mary on Friday.
The police report that the teen and the man were involved in an argument, which later became physical.
During the incident, the man was injured and transported to hospital by a motorist, but was later pronounced dead.
The teen was later picked up and taken into custody in connection with the incident.
Investigators also recovered a weapon, which they believed was used during the physical confrontation.
Commanding officer for the St Mary Police Division, Superintendent Anthony Wallace, is urging members of the public to seek what he described as peaceful conflict resolution, and to also report disputes to the police before they escalate.
