Not only was model Davina Bennett the leading lady in Maluma’s 7 Dias En Jamaica (7 Days in Jamaica) ‘Styled to the Roc’ by stylist-extraordinaire Neko Kelly, alias Bootleg Rocstar, the Miss Universe Jamaica 2017 also sported flawless make-up looks by Teeah Anderson. “I was actually recommended to her by Neko Kelly aka Bootleg Rocstar,” Anderson, who is the lead make-up artist and owner of 876 Faces by Teeah, told Something Extra, adding that she had done countless projects with Kelly. Anderson’s go-to for the shoot was airbrush and some of her own products from her 876 Faces Cosmetics line. “The recurring theme that ran throughout the project, regarding her character was ‘Jamaican Dream’. It was imperative for her to look like a goddess — sun kissed, glowing skin, and accentuated features but at the same time not overdone. She had to look effortless. Given the things she had to do, inclusive of underwater scenes, that was not an easy feat,” she said. Here are the highlights.
