FOOTBALL: Jamaican allegedly racially abused during FA Cup match
Jamaica and Reading winger Garath McCleary was allegedly racially abused by a fan during yesterday's FA Cup quarter-final win over Bradford City.
Reading advanced to the final four of the FA Cup for the first time in 88 years courtesy of a 3-0 victory over Bradford City in their sixth-round replay.
The triumph, however, has been overshadowed after McCleary, who scored Reading's second goal, made a complaint to the assistant referee late in the first-half.
Reading released a statement following the match, revealing a fan had been arrested.
Meanwhile, Reading will take on reigning champions Arsenal either on April 18 or 19.
The other F.A. Cup semi-final game will see Aston Villa, going up against either Liverpool or Blackburn Rovers, who both play each other on April 8, in a Quarter-final reply.
