UPDATE: Nugent reinstated, cleared for women’s 400m hurdles semis #RioGoldRush

Jamaica's hurdler Leah Nugent has been reinstated in the women's 400m hurdles semi-finals at the Olympic Games underway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Nugent finished second in her opening round heat in a time of 55.66 seconds but was disqualified for a hurdling violation.
With the reinstatement, she joins compatriots Ristananna Tracy and Janieve Russell in tomorrow's semi-finals.
