Commonwealth Games 2018 | McCatty ends 32nd in triathlon final

Jamaica's Phillip McCatty placed 32nd in the men's triathlon final at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. 

McCatty managed a combined time of 1:09.19, which left him 16:48 minutes behind gold medal winner Henri Schoeman (South Africa), who was timed at 52:31 with Australia's Jacob Birtwhistle securing the silver in 52:38. The bronze medal went to Scotland's Marc Austin in 52:44.

The Jamaican completed his swim in 13:56 then finished his bike ride in 33:43 and his run in 20:24 minutes.
