Holy Trinity stormed to a 4-1 win over Haile Selassie High in their Group A ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup match at Winchester Park on Friday afternoon.

Roy Evelyn put the home side in front in the 30th minute but Holy Trinity conceded a penalty two minutes into the second half after handling the ball in the box. Haile Selassie's Tahj Lewis dispatched the spot kick past Kevaughn Ricketts to level the score at 1-1.

However Holy Trinity retook the lead in the 54th minute after Okelo Howard's cross was misjudged by Haile Selassie goalkeeper Andre Burnett, and sailed over his head into the net. Shian Hanson extended the lead five minutes later and Evelyn made the points safe in the 80th minute.

The win vaults Holy Trinity to second place in Group A with eight points, narrowing Haile Selassie's lead in the group to one point.
