DOHA 2019 | Fedrick Dacres earns silver in Men's discus final

Fedrick Dacres earned Jamaica's fourth medal at the IAAF World Championships after taking silver in the Men's Discus final.

Dacres threw 66.94m on his second attempt but could not snatch the world title away from Sweden's Daniel Stahl who led wire to wire.

His third attempt of 67.59m was enough to secure victory.

Lukas Weisshaidinger of Austria won the bronze with a distance of 66.82m.

This is Jamaica's first medal in the event at a global championships.
