DOHA 2019 | Omar McLeod to contest Men’s 110m hurdles final
Defending champion Omar McLeod will contest today’s final of the men’s 110m hurdles at the IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
McLeod sped to 13.08 seconds to win his semi-final quite comfortably ahead of Pacal Martinot-Lagarde of France in 13.21 seconds and Wenjun Xie of China in 13.22 seconds.
Meanwhile, Jamaica’s other semi-finalists Orlando Bennett, Ronald Levy and Andrew Riley all failed to qualify for the final.
Bennett finished fifth in 13.60 seconds while Levy, who was one of the favourites to advance to final, finished a disappointed sixth in 13.60 seconds in semi-final one.
Riley finished fifth in the third semi-final 13.57 seconds.
The final is set for 3:00 p.m.
