DOHA 2019 | No medal for Jamaica in men’s 400m final

Demish Gaye and Akeem Bloomfield finished fourth and eight respectively in the final of the men’s 400m at the World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Gaye ran a lifetime best of 44.46 seconds.

The race was won by The Bahamas’ Steven Gardiner in national record of 43.48 seconds.

Anthony Zambrano of Colombia was second in 44.15 seconds while third went to the American Fred Kerley in 44.17 seconds.

Bloomfield finished at the back of field in 45.36 seconds.
