DOHA2019| JA's male, female teams advance to 4x400m final

Jamaica's male and female teams have advance to the finals of the 4x400 metres relay at the IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

The men's team of Akeem Bloomfield, Nathon Allen, Terry Thomas and Javon Francis won their first-round heat in a season's best time of 3:00:76 seconds.

The female quartet of Roniesha McGregor, Anastasia Le Roy, Tiffany James and Stephanie Ann McPherson won their heat in a world leading 3:23:64 seconds. 

The finals of both events will be contested on tomorrow’s final day of competition.
