First win for Humble Lion
Humble Lion scored their first win in nine Jamaica Premier League (JPL) season, after beating Montego Bay United 1-0 at Sabina Park yesterday.
Andre Clennon, scored his first goal of the season in the 32nd minute to lead the Clarendon-based team to victory.
The Andrew Price-coached team was the better side over 90 minutes and were deserved winners.
Clennon got the game's only goal when he raced through on a pass and fired inside Davonnie Burton's's near post.
Both teams were reduced to ten men in the 74th minute when Odane Nash and Rico Edward's were sent off after an off the ball tussle.
The result lifted Humble Lion one place to ninth with nine points, but they only trail Tivoli on goal difference. Montego Bay remain at the bottom of the table with four points.
