Cavalier rebound to hand Tivoli 3-1 defeat

Cavalier overturned a 1-0 halftime deficit to defeat Tivoli Gardens 3-1 in their Jamaica Premier League game at Drax Hall this afternoon.

A Kyle Ming own goal gave Tivoli the lead in the 31st minute before Cavalier equalised through Colin Anderson in the 46th.

Cavalier captain Jeovanni Laing gave the defending champions the lead in the 56th minute before Kenroy Campbell made the points safe in the 67th with a thumping effort.

Cavalier will finish the first round in fifth place with 19 points while Tivoli remain in eighth place for now with nine points.

Tivoli still have a game in hand to complete as they are yet to face Vere United in their rescheduled game.
