Guyana's Attoya Harvey, after already winning the Girls' Under-17 1500 metres, competes in the preliminary round of the 800 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica earlier today.

Jamaica's Andrene Peart and Ricaria Campbell have both advanced to the final of the Girls' Under-17 800m at the 2022 Carifta Games on inside the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

Peart, who was fourth in the Girls Under-17 1500m final last night, qualified with a time of two minutes 15.79 seconds in her first-round heat which was the third-fastest time among the field. Campbell clocked 2:20.06 to also book a place in tomorrow's final.

Girls Under-17 1500m champion Attoya Harvey of Guyana qualified with the fastest time, clocking 2:15.76.
