Jamaica's Andrene Peart and Ricaria Campbell have both advanced to the final of the Girls' Under-17 800m at the 2022 Carifta Games on inside the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

Peart, who was fourth in the Girls Under-17 1500m final last night, qualified with a time of two minutes 15.79 seconds in her first-round heat which was the third-fastest time among the field. Campbell clocked 2:20.06 to also book a place in tomorrow's final.

Girls Under-17 1500m champion Attoya Harvey of Guyana qualified with the fastest time, clocking 2:15.76.
