#Carifta2022 | Jamaica's girls sweep sprint hurdles

Jamaica have swept the girls' sprint hurdles at the 2022 Carifta Games on inside the National Stadium.

In the Under-20 final, Alexis James led a Jamaican one-two, winning the even in 13.32 seconds ahead of her teammate, Oneka Wilson, 13.67. Nya Browne of Barbados mined bronze in 14.63.

In the Under-17 final Jamaica had another podium finish as Bryana Davidson sped to victory in 13.50. Michelle Smith of the US Virgin Islands was second in 14.31, while Davidson's teammate Jody-Ann Daley, who hit a hurdle during a battle for the lead, recovered to finish third in 14.45.
