Technical leader of Jamaica's World Athletics Championship team Maurice Wilson says that, to his knowledge, former world 100m champion, Yohan Blake, will compete in the 200 metres today.
Reports surfaced about Blake being in a walking boot in the warm-up area yesterday after finishing fourth in his 100m semi-final on Saturday and failing to advance to the final.
Wilson said he had not received any reports from the medical team on any injury issues regarding Blake.
"I have not received any complaints about him having any issues and as far as I know, the medical staff have not received any complaints. As far as I know, he is confirmed for the 200m today," Wilson told The Gleaner.
