CHICAGO, (AP):
Chicago authorities said four people were charged after the protest against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The Chicago Police Department said in a news release sent on the weekend that the three men from Chicago and a 45-year-old woman from Michigan were arrested and charged for participating in a disturbance at the protest on Friday night.
The large demonstration drew hundreds of people, and Trump cancelled the rally at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Some scuffles and fistfights broke out inside. Outside, two officers were hurt.
Two of the men face felony charges of aggravated battery of a peace officer. All face misdemeanour charges of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
