Minister Grange salutes TT giant

The Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Olivia 'Babsy' Grange, has paid tribute to Fuarnado Roberts, the former Jamaica table tennis player who passed away yesterday recently at the age of 75.
In her tribute, Minister Grange saluted Roberts for "his contribution to sports development as player, coach, teacher and mentor".
Grange recalled that Roberts was the first Caribbean men's table tennis champion and said "he had been an inspiration, especially in the 1960s and 1970s when he was rated among the best players in the world.
"He has contributed much and I am saddened at his passing."
Grange offered sincerest condolences to his family, friends, students and the entire table tennis fraternity.
