Jamaica's Gordon bags four

Jamaica, replying to Trinidad & Tobago's first innings total of 250, reached 37 without loss at the close on the first day of their first-round match in the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Challenge yesterday at Gros-Islet Playing Field Cricket Ground.

Nicholas Alexis led the way for Trinidad and Tobago with a solid 60 while Jamaica's Nicholas Gordon took four for 47.

Scores: Trinidad and Tobago 250 (Nicholas Alexis 60, Derone Davis 44, Teshawn Castro 30, Yannick Cariah 28, Keeran Joseph 26, Yannic Ottley 20; Nicholson Gordon 4-47, Jermaine Blackwood 2-16, Horace Linton 2-55).

Jamaica 37 without loss (John Campbell 20 not out).

AT DENNERY PLAYING FIELD: Guyana, replying to Leeward Islands' first innings total of 141, reached 133 for six at the close.

Scores: Leeward Islands 141 (Hayden Walsh Jr 40 not out, Nordel Lake 28; Amir Khan 4-49, Andre Stoll 2-20, Anthony Adams 2-24, Keon Joseph 2-24).
