NDTC SEASON IS ON

The National Dance Theatre Company (NDTC) opened its 48th season of dance at the Little Theatre, Tom Redcam Avenue, on Friday night. Upper St Andrew's who's who stepped out in fine style for the gala.

Tuesday talk

Chief bedside mate

1. Embarrassment gripped the sympathisers when the estranged wife stormed the hospital and ordered them out. They were there to commiserate with the ailing husband, but the wife would have none of it. After a bitter split, it now seems she has returned to be chief bedside mate, much to the chagrin of those who felt she acted shabbily in the first place.

Like peas in a pod!

2. At first, they were like peas in a pod, and out of that grew a business venture. On the surface it seemed quite lucrative. However, it was soon revealed that the business was not doing well. When the dominant partner sought to dissolve the business and grab what he could and run, he found out that the lady had siphoned off every viable thing leaving only an empty shell. Question is: what is she fighting for now?

Potent drink?

3. People want to know what beverage the businessman has been drinking to think he could just impose himself into the game like that? Well, it could be some potent drink which has a way of creating a mirage, the type popular with the Latinos!

Cracks and chips

4.' A horrible job', is how some people are describing some of the work done at the airport. The tiling is one glaring example with cracks and chips all over, mere months after they were installed. They have concluded that either the material was inferior or the workmanship was substandard or both.

MUDDY MESS

Sumfest went ahead in a muddy mess but the party animals were not daunted.
