Boys' Town took a gigantic step towards the semi-finals of the Claro KSAFA Champions League after blanking Seaview Gardens 4-0 yesterday at the Harbour View Mini Stadium in their Zone B encounter.

The first real attack of the game in the 19th minute resulted in a goal. Boys' Town's captain, Michael Campbell, made a beautiful pass to Dean Thompson just inside the penalty area. Thompson's first touch was a heavy one, but he recovered quickly to slot home from close range.

Seaview got a glorious opportunity to pull level a minute before half-time when Dwight Silvester made a superb cross-field pass to Roland Young. Young lobbed the Boys' Town custodian, Kirk Porter, only to see his effort drift agonisingly wide.

The Red Brigade scored three more unanswered goals in the second half. The first came in the 53rd minute when Renae Lloyd rolled his pass across the face of goal for Campbell to lash home from an acute angle.

They made it 3-0 in the 56th minute when Marvin Morgan played a delightful pass from out of midfield to Lloyd. He easily rounded the keeper before rolling the ball into the empty net. Lloyd rounded off the scoring two minutes later. An error by Seaview resulted in them being out numbered in defence and with a number of Boys' Town players lining up to take the shot, Lloyd obliged.
