Unknown to many, there were a few who celebrated the Independence weekend a little differently.

While festivities hit high gear all over the island, at Laughing Waters Mammee Bay, in St Ann, people where feeling the ZeN.

St Ann's party headquarters came alive at ZeN TROPICALE with guests enjoying Johnnie Walker cocktails before going to enjoy the natural waterfall at Laughing Waters.

On the beach, there were the unforgettable sights of beautiful women bathing under the falls and a Johnnie Walker lounge deck that overlooked the sea.

Dancing frenzy

As the sun set and night fell, lit tiki torches lined the coastal beachside while DJ Arif 'SupaCoop' Cooper turned up the musical heat, putting the crowd of approximately 500 into a dancing frenzy. The delectable food offerings also flowed endlessly like the beautiful waterfalls. Guests were able to replenish their party energy until the last beat was played.

The difference was welcomed by the 500 or so who were there to experience and it.

"We wanted to give hard-working, fun-loving young professionals the ultimate Independence escape. What's better than reviving Ochi Independence at a premium beach party at Laughing Waters," commented Ron Young, one of ZeN TROPICALE's hosts.

He further explained that, "[Laughing Waters] perfectly captured the theme and ambience we wanted to create for 'TROPICALE' because of its exclusivity and the feeling it evokes."

Mature, sophisticated

"ZeN TROPICALE was a mature, sophisticated experience that's very hard to replicate," added Marsha Lumley, spirits brand manager at Red Stripe.

"Johnnie Walker appeals to people who enjoy such events, which makes Zen and Johnnie Walker a great fit."

Also included in the experience was a welcome party on Thursday, August 5, at Hard Rock Café in Ocho Rios. Reggae band Rootz Underground rocked the patrons with their reggae-rock infused beats. Shhhh! Let's keep this quiet.
