As a result of the reported attack on a referee, three members of the Olympic Gardens women's team, along with their coach, Michael Peart, and assistant coach, Anthony Samuels, were each fined $3,000 by the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Disciplinary Committee yesterday.

The players are, Ranish Sullivan, Opal Williams and Kemicaya Carey.

According to a JFF release, this decision was handed down by the Competitions Committee, following investigations into the circumstances under which the match between the female teams of Olympic Gardens and Trelawny FC was blown off in the 80th minute, as a result of a reported attack on the referee.

The game was awarded to Trelawny FC with a 3-0 margin and it was also decided that a very strong letter of reprimand would be sent to the club from the Federation.
