Teams within the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) will commence their quest for places in the Confederation Semi-Finals round of the KSAFA Claro Jackie Bell Knock-out Competition, when the first set of return matches is contested today.
The most anticipated encounter will see demoted Premier League outfit, August Town welcome seasoned Super League unit, Real Mona to the UWI, Bowl at 3 p.m. The two teams were unable to break the deadlock in their first-leg encounter as they played to a nil-all draw.
August Town's coach, Max Straw is looking forward to his team putting away their chances.
"Our team is a new team so it is going to take a little while for us to gel but we expect to get by them (Real Mona)," said Straw.
Peter Moses, coach of Real Mona is, however, not intimidated by their trip to UWI and will be looking to maintain possession.
"Our intention will be to get as much possession of the football as possible and try to create those chances again and do better this time," said Moses.
The day's other match will be contested between Maxfield Park and Rae Town at the Norman Manley High School. Match time is also set for 3 p.m.
The competition will continue tomorrow with the playing of two more games. Mountain View will welcome Duhaney Park to Excelsior High School at 3 p.m. The two teams have it all to play for following a 1-1 draw in their opening fixture.
Santos, will entertain Constant Spring at the Bell Chung Stadium also at 3 p.m. Santos came from behind in the opening leg to emerge 3-1 winners.
