Ecuador (AP):

Police in Ecuador say the bodies of four Cameroon citizens have been found in a house in the capital in a suspected drug-related slaying.

Police Colonel Andres Benitez told The Associated Press that authorities found the bullet-riddled bodies of the Africans late Monday in Quito, along with "evidence of drugs".

Benitez said yesterday that police are still determining the motive for the killings, but presume they are related to a dispute over money or "some discontent within the gang." He declined to identify the four or say how long they had been in Ecuador.

Ecuador is a trans-shipment point for Colombian and Peruvian cocaine heading to Europe and the United States.
