Online feedback

Performance trumps controversy

The Government's performance has far outweighed the Manatt-Coke issue; however, the media prefer to focus on the issue that is sensational and negative. Consider the Jamaica Debt Exchange, the yearly growth in agriculture, the lowest interest rates in over 20 years, the cut in salary taken by JLP Members of Parliament and the 66.67 per cent salary the prime minister opted for, the launch of massive road programme, the passing of all the International Monetary Fund tests, the free education, the free health and huge decline in crime and violence. This is simple excellent for Bruce's government.

Media bias

This goes to show the media's main agenda, and that is anything that makes money. After the reporting I saw about Andrew Holness recently it simply confirms that it is all about the money. Integrity and truth must take a back seat.

I wonder why this type of reporting never took place under the People's National Party administration?

The better of two evils

I cannot see the reason for the prime minister's waning popularity despite the Manatt, Phelps & Phillips controversy. There are many sins on both sides, if one chooses to be honest. But what exactly has the other side put forward for anyone to grab on to? So the party is going through some difficulties at the moment, what political party has not gone through trying times? As I said before, until a whole, fresh and eager party with good ideas and clean hands turn up, the JLP is the better of two evils right now.

Step down Golding

I strongly feel that Bruce Golding is to resign, stay home with his family and just be a normal family man. This country has gone through enough already, it's in more debt than ever ... . Bruce Golding ... please step down.
