Saint enjoys heavenly year
Saint International Modelling Agency has had a lot to be happy for over the last few years.
This year in particular, the agency has been blessed with a number of achievements on the runways of Europe and in the pages of major magazines worldwide.
V Magazine for instance, an entity which lauded the women of Saint International a few years ago, has now used the male counterpart to its publication to laud the men.
The magazine's November issue listed Saint International as one of the 12 best agencies in the world when it came to producing male models.
Five years ago, the same was said by V Magazine about the women of the agency.
Models making their mark
The praises came on the back of a celebration party earlier this month, where Saint CEO, Deiwght Peters, a former banker, hosted a function to congratulate the exploits of his leading ladies in France's Fashion Week.
Shena Moulton, Ashane Rose, Raschelle Osbourne and Ornelia Edwards, were all lauded for their achievements.
"We're celebrating a milestone for Saint International - with approximately 11 models walking the catwalks of the fashion capitals of the world this season alone," Peters had said during a welcome speech at The Devonshire, Devon House at the time.
"Saint was the single largest provider of black models on the catwalks, which is pretty remarkable," he continued.
Peters had also pointed to some of the big sponsors who had been associating themselves with the models, saying this proved how strong the Jamaican brand was.
BMW, Scotia A Advantage Visa Card and Moet Chandon, along with Island Grill, SoftSheen-Carson and Juici Patties are just some of the brands he had mentioned.
