There was only one place to be last Friday night ... Bogue in the west for ATL's show-stopping party, and back in the capital, the media fraternity thanked God for another year before breaking bread courtesy of Sagicor at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel.

Back at home!

1. Seems like the estranged wife has moved back into the residence. She is known to be very adventurous and has experimented with other lifestyles. For now, it seems she feels happiest in the comfort of her husband's arms. Some are watching to see how long this will last.

Unusual demand

2. The nerve of the man! The principal paid off all his debts but one, and now he is demanding that they settle his accounts with his bookies. This one looks like the straw that will break the camel's back.

Make the list public!

3. Ears are anxious to hear if the inquiry will expose all the sweetheart deals that were made in the aftermath of the meltdown. Heads are bound to roll if the list becomes public because some connected parties and their family members did enjoy spectacular benefits.

Active developer!

4. All too often, homeowners are left in a quandary when things go wrong and the developer is nowhere to be found. Not so for these residents; they are simply overjoyed to see that the developer is a frequent (as in daily) visitor and he has been known to be in residence overnight. What does his wife think about it? She reasons that it's better to have half-a-man than no man at all.

Indecent haste

5. It's the kind of stuff that gets people really angry. Here is the mother, not yet in the grave, yet realtors are called in to view the house and get it ready for market. If ever there was indecent haste, this is it!
