Ellis International again presents their much-anticipated end-of-year fiesta of laughter called 'Christmas Comedy Cook-up presents the Ity & Fancy Cat Show Live' scheduled for the Wyndham Kingston ballroom on Sunday, December 26, 2010.

And after having to turn back patrons for the sold-out event every year, this seventh staging of the annual comedy extravaganza will see two shows on the day, one at 5 p.m. and the other at 8:30 p.m.

Comedy fans and lovers of high-quality entertainment can look forward to a scintillating evening of riotous laughter blended with music and dance in a smooth, slick production conceptualised and directed by veteran comic, writer and arts educator Owen 'Blakka' Ellis. Under Ellis' guidance and mentorship for the past 18 years, Ity & Fancy Cat have grown into unquestionably the hottest comedy act operating out of the Caribbean. Their hugely popular television project, now in preparation for its fourth season, is also growing into a major international phenomenon with video uploads from the show going viral on the Internet.

Sharing stage with the hilariously outrageous duo on December 26 will be ever-popular comedic medic Dr Michael Abrahams, eccentric crooner of humorous parodies; the crazy Rozah Roze, and the lady who popularised the new 'tan deh deh' phrase, Kathy Grant (aka Jennifer the country helper).

2010 World Reggae Dance champions Shady Squad will also add energy, excitement and variety to the show. The local acts will be joined by international guest performers in the persons of Haitian-American comic sensation Wil Sylvince and the hard-hitting Barbadian dynamo Trevor Eastmond.
