Carjacker chains man to porch

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (AP):

Police in Kansas City say a suspected carjacker chained a man to his front porch before driving off in his red Chevy Camaro.

The man's wife told KMBC-TV her husband went out 6:30 a.m. on Monday to start the car and warm it up before driving to work. The woman says a man in a ski mask put a gun to her husband's head and chained him to the porch, then took the remote entry key and drove away in the car. The owner was not hurt.

Police found the car a short time later several blocks away. Officers saw a man running away and took him into custody nearby.
