Osmosis is known to attract the rain at each staging, and so it came as no surprise that last the scheduled date came with some showers. However, that shower turned into intense rainfall that caused a postponement of the event until Thursday, December 23.

Nonetheless, with all the rain and muddy terrain, Osmosis Master Class surpassed expectations as hundreds of patrons flocked the Caymanas Estate for another anticipated staging of this premium all-inclusive event where "luxury and glamour meet super all-inclusive, vibes and beautiful people".

Always setting the standard and raising the bar for all-inclusive events, the Mad Circle Team pulled out all the stops to ensure that the event lived up to the hype and expectations of the patrons. The decor, as is expected from an Osmosis event, was flawless.

The Cabana City VIP area had raised platforms where various food stations were situated, with a easily accessible Smirnoff bar in the middle. The red-and-white theme which complemented their title sponsor, Smirnoff, was simply breathtaking under the cascading moonlight.

Fashion Police

Patrons in the general admission section were not to be left out as they had their own raised platforms, which they used as a dance floor or chill spot. The trendy but comfortable decor added a certain panache where patrons were afforded the opportunity to feel like VIPs. The abundance of food, liquor by the crates and crazy musical selections by Jamaica's finest, set the pace for what could be the best party of the Christmas season so far.

Apart from the decor, great music and food, Osmosis is also known for the fashion, and this year was no different as patrons turned up the intensity inside the venue. This is the one event that is guaranteed to have the paparazzi out and about snapping shots of fashionistas in their finest ensembles.

This year, to make it an even sweeter deal, Jamaica telecoms giant Digicel had their very own 'fashion police' where a team of style gurus went around snapping the most fashionable patrons for their chance of winning the prize for being best dressed at the event.

Despite the earth being a little waterlogged, the ladies rocked stilettos, boots and booties of different styles and colours - a clear fashion trend for the ladies, while the men made their fashion statements mostly in jackets, vests and cardigans.

The Osmosis Cabana City, which usually provided a more relaxed and luxurious atmosphere for the more discerning guests, on the contrary, was packed with patrons standing shoulder-to-shoulder throughout the night.

Despite the tight space in Cabana City, celebrity guests, sponsors, and Jamaica's eminent socialites were still able to revel in the comfort and sophistication of elegantly decorated cabanas whilst enjoying choice cuisine and top-shelf liquor that included Hennessy and Ciroc Vodka, all delivered by the dedicated concierge service, courtesy of Bars to Go.

Food and drink were available in abundance into early Sunday morning, courtesy of Diageo and a number of caterers and restaurants. The extensive food selection in the renowned food court featured cuisine from 11 of Kingston's trendiest restaurants including Cuddyz, Rib Kage, TGIF, Pizza Hut, Truck Stop, Monsters Grill and others.

Dedicated to providing its patrons with an invigorating experience, the Osmosis family had a wide range of musical stylings by Jamaica's finest - ZJ Liquid, Jazzy T and Coppershot.

Although at the beginning of the event the vibe was very slow, with many persons complaining about how bad the selectors were, the event ended on a musical high as Coppershot and Jazzy T got patrons wining and grooving. The Gleaner left the venue close to 6 a.m. Once again, the genre that patrons responded to the most was the dancehall segment. Coupled with the antics of ZJ Liquid, patrons were on the floor either from laughing at his jabs at females, their clothes and hair, or simply because they were in intense dancehall fever.
