Mega Gospel Awards on today

The fourth annual Mega Gospel Awards takes place today.

The event will be broadcast live over the airwaves of MegaJamz 98FM from noon to 4:00 p.m.

The Mega Gospel Awards provides a platform for gospel talent to be recognised, while engaging the station's audience by making them a part of the decision-making process.

Since its official launch in March 2007, the Mega Gospel Awards have shown recognition to more than 200 ministers and gospel artistes. The event is consistently supported by the Gospel community. Winners and nominees turn out in their numbers to be a part of the only awards show which supports Gospel music across the board.

The nominees for the Mega Gospel Awards are chosen based on their airplay throughout MegaJamz 98FM's Sunday gospel shows; Gospel Jamz hosted by Kevin Lewis and More Glory hosted by Sean Downer.

Winners of each category are derived from voting from listeners, either through text messaging or voting online at www.megajamz98fm.com.
