Int'l marketing guru to host conference in Ja
JAMAICA'S MARKETING and business community are expected to benefit from a wide range of marketing information, as legendary international marketing guru Dr Philip Kotler makes his presentation at a special seminar in Kingston.
Dr Kotler will be the exclusive presenter at the Marketing Excellence & Brand Leadership Seminar 2011, which will be held today at the Wyndham Kingston hotel starting at 8:30 a.m., under the theme, 'Managing and Marketing in a Slow Growth Economy'.
Dr Kotler is expected to expose local marketing executives to the latest and most detailed thinking, and practical insights on how to survive, improve competitiveness, and build sustainable entities in today's complex and tough economic climate.
His presentation will also provide an informed and successful guide for local marketing professionals to maximise the potential of their branding strategies, as well as to develop, measure and manage brand equity in a challenging economic environment.
The seminar, which targets brand leaders, academics and senior marketing executives, will cover marketing trends and branding techniques for all types of businesses and across the established and emerging industries in the economy.
Dr Kotler, a marketing maestro, was born in 1931 and has distinguished himself as a professor of marketing for over four decades at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern Univer-sity's premier business school, located in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
