Sammy to lead St Lucia

CASTRIES, St Lucia (CMC): West Indies captain Darren Sammy will lead St Lucia's 13-man squad at the Windward Islands Twenty20 Championship starting next Thursday in Dominica.

Sammy, who is currently leading the regional side in the second and final Test against Pakistan in St Kitts, was this week selected in the national squad for the May 26-30 tournament.

The 27-year-old all-rounder is expected to lead West Indies against India in the tour beginning June 4 in Trinidad and Tobago.

Selectors have also included first-class quartet of Keddy Lesporis, Johnson Charles, Garey Mathurin and Dalton Polius.
