With the fancied horses falling like ninepins in the mud at Caymanas Park on Wednesday, tomorrow's 'Hall of Fame' 11-race programme offers multiple carryovers.

Both Super-6s offer carryovers, while the Pick-9 proved a nightmare for punters and offers $1 million.

The first Super-6 boasts a $813,866.62 carryover, the late Super-6 $913,640.81.

We look at the second Super-6 which gets under way in the sixth race, Division II of the Leslie McRae Trophy for maiden three-year-olds over 1100 metres, to be contested by 14 starters, including top contenders SEARCHING FOR GOLD and AUSTIN LAKE from the stables of many-time champion trainer Wayne DaCosta and Philip Feanny, respectively.

Both finished second last time out and it could go down to the wire in this quick sprint. Preference, however, is for SEARCHING FOR GOLD who just failed to stave off GRANDE MARQUE over the straight when installed a howling favourite on May 14. The son of Region of Merit has worked well out of the straight in preparation for this race and gets the nod over AUSTIN LAKE, who chased home LIGHTNING IMAGE over the course when having his second outing on May 14.

Preferred colt

BURST OF ENERGY, an American 4-y-o colt who has beaten better in the not-too-distant past, is preferred to the stretch-running 4-y-o colt PRINCE ROHAN (working well) in the seventh race, the Ren Gonzalves Memorial Cup (overnight allowance) at 2000 metres.

BURST OF ENERGY, who has run well in open-allowance company in recent months, could only manage fifth to upset winner THE GUARDIAN over 1400 metres on May 21, but the blinkers gives way to the cheek pieces tomorrow, and with only 53.0kg, he should hold PRINCE ROHAN (Dick Cardenas) at bay with leading jockey Shane Ellis aboard.

Recent winner POCKET MONEY (Ellis again) and FACE TRACKER should fight out the finish of the eighth race over the straight, but GEYSER SPRING, despite the lengthy absence, could surprise them and is worthy of serious consideration in the 13-horse field. The edge goes to consistent FACE TRACKER under champion jockey Omar Walker.

Briefly, the Wayne DaCosta-trained 4-y-o colt KACEY POPS KID, who was third on his debut behind POCKET MONEY last Saturday, will have gained immensely from the experience and should win from the speedy CITY HALL, who was just ahead of him last Saturday.

The DaCosta-trained American colt SIR VON is weighted to win the 10th race with only 50.0kg - the 16th running of the Hall of Fame Stakes Trophy open allowance feature over 1200 metres - to be contested by six starters. Then, take BUNKER DUST as a banker in the closing $180,000 conditional claiming over the straight following his close second to CHRISTMAS GIFT over 1200 metres on May 21 in open $180,000 claiming.
