Charles back unopposed in St Lucia

CASTRIES, St Lucia (CMC):
Former Windward Islands and St Lucia cricket captain Julian Charles has been re-elected unopposed for another two-year term to serve as president of the St Lucia National Cricket Association (SLNCA).
Charles was returned at the weekend during the Biennial General Meeting of the SLNCA.
Three other officers who were part of the last administration were also re-elected in second vice-president Shaun Alcindor, third vice-president Elizabeth Williams and principal secretary Patrick Felix.
Peterson Satney, who served as assistant secretary in the last executive, is the new treasurer.
Former national captain Hermangild Francis, who had a brief stint as president, was elected vice-president while Leslie Charlery was elected secretary.
The first order of business for the new executive will be the hosting of the Windward Islands Under-19 tournament from July 3-12.
