Re: yesterday's editorial 'REDjet, protection and the CSME':

In the opinion of the people of Jamaica, how many more times should the Government of Jamaica - no matter who represents us - stand up like the emperor with new clothes and turn the other cheek in such matters?

If the other fellows refuse to play fair, either we stop trying to play with them, or we must play by their rules - even if nobody ends up winning, at least we don't lose again.

Re: yesterday's lead story 'Rescued, dumped, adopted by missionary, now star high-school athlete':

Wah nuh dead, nuh dash weh. I guess those biological parents of Mark never heard that before. They should hide their faces in the very ground that they walk on because this was really a brutal and criminal act.

We have to say a big thanks and respect to all those who were involved in saving this little guy's life, including the policeman and his adoptive parents.

I admire Mark's ambition, his willpower, fighting spirit and that he hadn't decided to forsake Jamaica despite what was done to him.
