Barrow, Chai Chong for AmCham Classic

The Caymanas Golf and Country Club will come alive today with the playing of the AmCham Bobcat Classic, which will include the likes of Jodi Munn Barrow, Wayne Chai Chong, Lindy Delapenha, Maurice Foster and Peter Lindo.

Set to start at 8:30 a.m., the tournament will be played using a shotgun format, with the event's award ceremony to be held at 2 p.m.

"We have about a third more entry than we had last year and we hope the weather holds good so that we can have a good turn out and good performances," said tournament director, David Mais.

"It's a handicap competition, with a whole bunch of people who can win, some of whom would have played the first leg of the LIME Cup yesterday at Constant Spring Golf (Club) and would be in form," he added.

Among those who are expected to be in attendance are president of AmCham and Stewart's Auto, Diana Stewart, and Brian Blair, representing title sponsors Stewart Industrial - Bobcat.
