Jaguar XJ is International Car of the Year

The 2011 Jaguar XJ has been named International Car of The Year (ICOTY).
Jaguar's hugely-popular sport saloon was deemed the 'worldwide benchmark of luxury motoring' by a panel of renowned automotive journalists and editors who unanimously lauded the XJ's unique design and stellar performance.
Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's Global Brand Director said the ICOTY award was indeed a significant achievement.

"We're delighted that the Jaguar XJ has received this honour and no less from one of the highest international panels in our industry. This win speaks volumes about the future of the Jaguar brand as a leading-edge premium car maker," he said.
Challenging the notion that large cars should be conservative or restrained, the XJ packs a new generation of high performance. Commanding the road with its smooth and responsive six-speed electronic automatic transmission, as well as its flawless supercharged 5.0-litre V8 diesel engine or 3.0 litre V6 model, the all-new XJ takes you from 0-60 mph in just six seconds.
David Hastings, senior sales consultant for Jaguar at ATL Britannia Motors said the XJ had earned its bragging right as the world's best.
