English Racing: Firebeam looks good at York

The Newmarket July Cup meet continues today, but there is racing from a number of grade one courses, including Ascot and York.
There is also racing at Newbury and Chester in the evening, while Finger Lakes, Monmouth Park and Belmont offer simulcast racing from the United States.
Today at York in the 14th race over seven furlongs, we like the look of the 11-4 ante-post favourite FIREBEAM, to be ridden by Eddie Ahern for veteran trainer Willie Haggas.
The three-year-old colt won well at Goodwood last time out, and although penalised for that win, is so well within himself that he is fancied to repeat.
